Hello everyone

My name is Martin Reilly and I’m very proud to say that I am the official photographer for Dave Lee’s Happy Holidays.

I first got involved with the charity by accident, I was at one of the charity golf classics just taking photos for myself and having a really good day out. And Dave Pay from the Folkestone branch showed the photos I had taken to Dave Lee and he phoned me to ask if I would do the same the following year, which I did.

I was then asked if I would be the Official Photographer for the charity which I gladly accepted,

 And since that day I have got more and more involved with the charity and all the wonderful people involved in the running of it. I have made some life long friends through the charity and I look forward to making many more in the future.

For me there is no better sound in the world than children laughing, and some of the kids haven’t got much to laugh about but they do anyway. And it’s my job to try and capture that moment whether that is on a Disney trip or the Panto show at the Marlow or a golf day where they are meeting their favourite celebrity. It truly is a magical moment and long may it continue.

My job is made easier by everyone who helps out with entertaining the kids whether that’s Miki & Dizzy and the other happy holiday Clowns or Regi Mental with his Monkey Leicester or Dave just Being himself .

As for me I’m 43 years old and Single I no you find that hard to believe but it’s true I am 43. I have been interested in photography since I was a kid and now find myself doing more weddings and corporate Photography as well as the charity photos.
